Miro’s
GOLDesp system is being utilised by Boeing as the central
logistics application in their C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment
Program (GISP).

Miro
believes that an updated version of GOLD is the ideal solution for a single
services engineering and maintenance management for the ADF as being sought
under JP2077 Phase 2D.
An
earlier version (1990) of GOLD was selected by the Australian Defence Force
(ADF) to serve as the foundation
platform for the Computer Aided Maintenance Management System, CAMM2.
The
system is used by all RAAF, Australian Army and RAN—12,000 users, at 80 sites,
supporting 20 different aircraft types.
Miro
believes that this has become an outdated “bespoke” system resulting in
extremely high support costs for that capability.
The latest version of GOLDesp Work Recording screens and processes is flexible
enough to provide a true “purple”
single maintenance solution for land, sea and air applications as simple
or as complex as the user needs, managing both simple and complex
equipment.
