SPEE3D and 1941 have agreed to a funding partnership that will see 1941, a joint venture of Bondi Partners and Ellerston Capital, invest an undisclosed sum in SPEE3D.
The investment will be used to help SPEE3D expand its core business selling metal 3D printers to Governments and Defence forces around the world. SPEE3D systems are currently in use by Defence, the US Department of Defense, the UK Ministry of Defence, the Japanese Ministry of Defence and the Ukrainian Army as well as undisclosed customers.
“Our partnership with 1941 will help us to grow quickly and meet the growing global demand for our technology,” SPEE3D Chief Executive, Byron Kennedy, said.
“1941 and Bondi Partners have extensive military ties with the U.S. military and other allied nations and our partnership aims to build on this great Australian success story.”
