Aurizn has announced that defence and national security executive, Rebecca Humble, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will assume the role at the end of this month.
Aurizn’s Chairman, Andrew Tymms said he was delighted at the appointment of Humble to the Aurizn CEO role.
“Rebecca brings to Aurizn more than 25 years of strategic, commercial and leadership experience in the defence industry, in Australia and international markets including the UK, Europe and the US," Tymms said.
“Rebecca’s deep defence industry insight, her steadfast commitment to growing sovereign capability, and her proven record in driving growth makes her ideally suited to lead Aurizn as we continue to invest and pursue our ambition to better serve our defence customer’s needs."
Humble was most recently the Chief of Strategy at QinetiQ Australia, has held executive positions at BAE Systems and Nova Systems.

Humble is intrinsically connected to defence industry through her prior Board positions with the Defence Teaming Centre, University of Adelaide, Defence, Space and Cyber Advisory Board and current role as Non-Executive Director at Praetorian Aeronautics.
