DEWC Services has announced a partnership with Navy Health as part of the company's commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of its veteran employees.
As part of the partnership, DEWC Services’ employees and their families will have greater access to more affordable private health insurance.
“We take pride in protecting those who protect us, their families and all Australians working at a company that supplies goods or services to the ADF,” said Katrena Fisher, Navy Health corporate relationship partner.
“We are always looking for ways to support our corporate partners in their health and wellness initiatives and goals, through educational content, webinars and information sessions.”
Making private health insurance more accessible and prioritising the mental health of employees and their families is a key focus for DEWC Services, a veteran owned business.
“We have a number of veterans and active reservists and we believe it’s important to have benefits and initiatives that recognise their service and help them thrive in their personal lives and the workplace,” said Deb Penaluna, DEWC Services GM – People and Culture.
“Discounted gym membership, the Healthy Minds program and connections in the workplace through social and special interest groups are just some of the other ways we are investing in the mental health of our employees."
“Navy Health is a not-for-profit fund for the Defence community, which resonates with us and our purpose of contributing to protecting Australia and its national interests.”
