Downer’s Lands Management team at HMAS Creswell has been awarded a Royal Australian Navy Gold Commendation for their work in preserving and maintaining HMAS Creswell's land estate.
The award was presented by Captain Dugald Clelland on behalf of the Chief of Navy.
"We understand it is a remarkable accomplishment for civilians to receive a Royal Australian Navy Gold Commendation. This acknowledgment is a source of immense pride for Downer, testament to our commitment to deliver the highest-quality service to Defence," said Downer Group's General Manager Base and Estate Management - Defence, David Morris.
"Our Estate Management teams may work behind the scenes, but every single job they do, big or small, is done with a
passionate drive to enable defence capability and we are deeply honoured to have this recognised by the Chief of Navy."
