Droneshield has announced four new leadership appointments for the company's Australian operations.

Droneshield has appointed Terry van Haren as its Vice President of Strategy. Van Haren previously served in the Royal Australian Air Force for 35 years with his final posting being in the US as Australia's Air and Space Attache.

Kacey Lam-Evans, meanwhile, has been appointed as Droneshield's Government Affairs Director. Lam-Evans comes to the role from a government relations firm. She previously worked in the office of Christopher Pyne while he was serving as Australia's 54th Minister for Defence.

Kym Osley and Fergus McLachlan have been appointed Strategic Advisors for the company. McLachlan served in the Australian Army for 37 years including as Commander, Land Forces Command. Osley, meanwhile, served as Australia's senior Air Force representative in the UK and as the head of the Australian F-35A program.

“DroneShield welcomes Terry, Koz, Gus, and Kacey to our team, as the business rapidly grows in scale. They are world class talent, coming at this important time as counterdrone threats are rapidly growing around the world," said Droneshield's CEO, Oleg Vornik.

"They will be involved in ongoing positioning of DroneShield as a pre-eminent defence technology company in Australia and globally. These appointments reflect the significant growth in our capabilities, across business development, technology, and operations.”
