L3Harris Technologies has opened a new Centre of Excellence, specialising in Electronic Warfare, in Brisbane. The Centre will bring together expertise in the design, manufacture, integration and sustainment of high-reliability Electronic Warfare technology.

The Centre will serve as a hub for L3Harris’ space, intelligence and cyber products that are used across Australia and the broader Indo Pacific region. It will also support the delivery of T4 and T7 robots to the Australian Defence Force as part of Project Land 154.

The robots are equipped with cameras and best-in-class features that detect, examine and neutralise explosive threats and hazards to help protect Australian personnel.

“The launch of our Centre of Excellence is a clear signal of L3Harris’ commitment to lead and shape the future of defence technology in Australia, for Australia, by our incredibly talented local workforce,” said L3Harris Technologies' President of Space and Airborne systems, Ed Zoiss.

“As we embark on this journey, we extend our gratitude to the ADF for their trust and partnership," he added.
