Kongsberg Defence Australia has awarded Levett Engineering a contract to build Stacking Frames that will be used to transport Naval Strike Missile (NSM) Launcher Missile Modules.

"As we continue to expand our local supply chain for the NSM capability for the Royal Australian Navy, we are very pleased to welcome Levett Engineering. Levett is a very capable organisation and our engagement with them so far has been impressive," said the Managing Director of Kongsberg Defence Australia, John Fry.

The contract builds on work already performed by Levett Engineering in support of Marand Precision Engineering's work on various NSM launcher systems.

"Levett is renowned for its exacting operational benchmarks and commitment to product quality and on-time delivery. We are delighted to be working directly with Kongsberg Defence Australia to manufacture and supply Stacking Frames to transport the NSM Launcher Missile Modules," said the General Manager of Levett Engineering, Dave Lander.

"This direct contract with Kongsberg builds on existing component work Levett have executed supporting Marand with their Launch Ramp Systems the Launcher Frames and Rails work packages for Kongsberg Defence Australia.”
