Lockheed Martin Australia has selected Martin-Baker Australia to deliver ejection seat training for Australian Defence Force (ADF) pilots flying PC-21 aircraft.
Martin-Baker Australia will deliver up to 40 training courses per year for Navy, Army and Air Force pilots, as well as refresher courses for instructors under the contract.
Lockheed Martin Australia selected Martin-Baker Australia to deliver the training under the auspices of Project Air 5428 Phase 1 - Pilot Training System - which Lockheed Martin Australia is Defence's partner on.

the world’s most experienced ejection seat manufacturer is front and centre in delivering aircrew safety training to Australian Defence Force pilots," said Lockheed Martin Australia and New Zealand’s Program Director Global Training Systems,
Peter Ashworth.
Martin-Baker ejection seats are fitted on a range of ADF aircraft including the F-35A, F/A-18F, E/A-18G, Hawk and PC-21.Martin-Baker crashworthy seats are also fitted to P-8A as well as EC-135 HATS, CH-47 Chinook, UH-60M and AW-139 EMS helicopters
