Penten and UK-based Amiosec have announced that they intend to merge, subject to regulatory approval in Australia and the UK.
If the merger goes ahead, the current CEO of Penten, Greg Barsby, will become Group CEO. The CEO and founder of Amiosec, Adrian Cunningham, will become the new company's Chief Executive UK. Penten's CFO, Sarah Bailey, will become Group CFO.
"Penten and Amiosec each recently celebrated their tenth anniversaries,” said the Founder and Executive Chairman of Penten, Matthew Wilson.
“Along that journey both companies have worked in partnership to invent, deliver and scale our proprietary technologies. Focusing on the cyber challenges that others avoid, we have worked together to maximise the value of our customers’ technology investments to deliver real impact as we seek to protect those that protect us.”
The merger is backed by Penten investor Five V Capital.
