QinetiQ has appointed Corry Neale as Chief Executive, Australia Sector. This new position is effective immediately.
"Corry’s experience of leading complex programs across the defence and aerospace sectors will be important as we continue to position QinetiQ to play a vital role in advancing sovereign capability and supporting our Australian customers’ most critical priorities," Group Chief Executive Officer of QinetiQ, Steve Wadey, announced.
Corry has over 20 years’ experience in defence, aerospace, and technology. Prior to joining QinetiQ, she held senior executive positions at Thales Australia, including Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Vice President Land.
"I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead a fantastic team and am looking forward to working more closely with our customers, partners and people to leverage QinetiQ’s multi-domain expertise and deliver trusted solutions that advance sovereign capability, and support Australia’s strategic priorities," Neale said.
During September 2025, Neale has served as Interim CEO of QinetiQ Australia and in that position she saw QinetiQ’s Phoenix Jet uncrewed aerial target complete 500 flights.
“Reaching 500 successful flights with the Phoenix Jet is a proud moment for QinetiQ and a clear demonstration of the sovereign capability we deliver every day," Neale said at the time of the achievement as Interim CEO.
“This milestone reflects the strength of our local workforce, our investment in Australian innovation, and our commitment to delivering reliable, mission-ready solutions to our customers that enhance operational readiness and national security."
Neale has also worked for Microsoft and she started working for QinetiQ in November 2024 as Managing Director.
