REDARC has acquired South-Australia based Asension out of administration.
Asension will continue its advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) work, including on its Wombat and MOESS solutions, as part of its REDARC Defence and Space business.
In 2022, Asension was awarded a $4.35 million grant through the Defence Innovation Hub to develop a space-based tactical sensor system for the Defence.
"This acquisition underscores REDARC’s commitment to supporting the Australian Defence Industry and strengthening Australia’s sovereign defence capabilities," the company said in a statement.
