Saab Australia has appointed defence industry leader Chris Keane as Chief Growth Officer.
Chris has developed and led major business opportunities for BAE Systems Australia and most recently Northrop Grumman Australia.
Saab has delivered sustained growth over the past five years including expanding operations across Australia and is continuing to develop a highly skilled sovereign combat systems engineering workforce.
“As we continue to successfully deliver our existing projects for our customers, we are seeking to leverage the significant investments that have been made in our sovereign capabilities to create innovative solutions that meet Australia’s
strategic defence requirements,” said Saab Australia Managing Director Andy Keough.
“Chris has extensive experience navigating complex international defence contracting environments with a focus on technology transfer to grow sovereign Australian defence capabilities.”
