Saab Australia and ST Engineering partner on delivering deployable health solutions for combat field hospitals in the Asia Pacific region.

“This partnership brings together our complementary strengths to deliver a world class capability that ensures defence personnel can train and operate with confidence, wherever they are deployed," Saab Australia Managing Director, Andy Keough, said.

The companies have signed a teaming agreement. The deployable health capability will be used by the Australian Defence Force (AFD). These have previously been delivered to Europe, according to the companies.

“This teaming agreement leverages our expertise in unmanned integrated systems and automation alongside Saab’s complementary strength to pave the way for cutting-edge health solutions crucial for combat field hospitals.” “At ST Engineering, we are dedicated to advancing solutions for rapid response capabilities, reducing the time to treat patients and improving survival rates," General Manager of Unmanned & Integrated Systems, and Digital Systems at ST Engineering, Goh Ming Joo, stated.

The teaming agreement hopes to deliver scalable and adaptable health support systems designed for a range of operations, including armed conflict, humanitarian aid, and peacekeeping missions across multiple defence domains.
