Silentium Defence has announced a manufacturing partnership with Redarc Defence & Space.
“Partnering with REDARC Space & Defence enables us to scale the production of our passive radar systems here in Australia, ensuring our customers have rapid access to the most advanced covert situational awareness technologies available," Global CEO of Silentium Defence, James Palmer, said.
"With global tensions and increasingly contested domains driving demand for resilient, next-generation defence capabilities, we are scaling operations across the US, UK and Australia. Our passive radar technology is being adopted by defence and space customers across the globe, to help our allied nations strengthen their own capabilities in both defence and commercial arenas. Our ambition is to lead the world in passive radar - building sovereign capabilities, bolstering national security and creating high-value career opportunities for our people along the way.”
By combining Silentium Defence’s passive radar technology with Redarc's manufacturing capabilities, the collaboration will hopefully accelerate the delivery of next-generation surveillance solutions to Australia and the wider global market.
"Our collaboration with Silentium Defence is a prime example of Australian companies working together to deliver world-class sovereign capabilities," CEO of Redarc Defence & Space, Anthony Kittel, highlighted.
"This partnership is vital for integrating advanced technologies into critical defence platforms, ensuring our forces have access to the best possible solutions manufactured right here in Australia. It's about building a robust, self-reliant defence industry that can meet current and future challenges."
Silentium Defence’s passive radar systems can allegedly monitor potential threats, from drones and aircraft to objects in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), without being detected.
Both companies are committed to fostering a robust domestic defence industry that can meet current and future challenges.
The manufacturing partnership between Silentium Defence and Redarc is underway and both organisations are set to work together for the next three years.
