SYPAQ Systems has announced the successful delivery and entry into service of Corvo X, delivering a next generation military-grade SUAS capability under the Australian Army’s Def 129 Small Uncrewed Aerial System Program.
SYPAQ has delivered a fleet of Corvo X Mission Systems alongside a multi-year sustainment program providing ongoing spares, maintenance, training and support capabilities to ensure long-term operational readiness.
Critically, in an era of rapid evolution of both autonomous systems technologies and emergent threat environments, this sustainment program allows for continual innovation in partnership with Defence - ensuring the Corvo X capability remains relevant and adaptable to the future needs of the warfighter.
Designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia, Corvo X is a next generation military-grade SUAS, featuring a thrust vectored Vertical Take-Off and Landing configuration that delivers endurance in extreme weather conditions.
According to SYPAQ, the lightweight, man-packable system, coupled with advanced autonomy, payload, and encrypted mesh network capabilities, reduces the physical and cognitive load on the operator, enhancing mission safety, flexibility, and performance.
SYPAQ now looks forward to its continued partnership with Defence to both support the Corvo X capability in operations and drive future innovation programs under the Corvo X Sustainment Program.
