SYPAQ Systems has unveiled the CorvoX to the international market for the first time, at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) London 2025.
“With CorvoX export ready in 2026, we’re excited to bring this game-changing capability to our allies and partners around the world and showcase the strength of the Australian Defence Industry,” Chairman of SYPAQ Systems," David Vicino, said.
CorvoX is a next generation military grade small unmanned aerial system (SUAS), featuring a thrust vectored Vertical Take Off and Landing configuration that delivers endurance in extreme weather conditions and the lightweight, man packable system, coupled with advanced autonomy, payload, and encrypted mesh network capabilities, reduces the physical and cognitive load on the operator, enhancing mission safety, flexibility and performance.
Key features of CorvoX include:
- It is export-ready and approved.
- Sub 2kg weight which has provided minimal carrying load on the end-user.
- Rugged, low-SWaP design which, according to the company, has been proven in austere environments.
CorvoX will continue SYPAQ’s export ready family of sovereign SUAS, starting with the successful delivery of the Precision Payload Delivery System (PPDS) ‘Cardboard Drone’, which has been successfully exported to a range of European countries for operational and training use.
Through the delivery of PPDS, SYPAQ has forged a relationship with Austrade and the Department of Defence Export Control Office, which gave the company confidence to enter the export market with CorvoX.
SYPAQ has also announced that Corvo X will not only be delivered to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) under Def 129 in 2025 but also be export-ready for international customers in 2026.
As of March 2025, SYPAQ Systems was contracted to deliver the CorvoX to the ADF.
"It is an incredible time to be developing a game-changing competitive advantage to our Australian service men and women, as well as having this technology available to our trusted international partners,” Amanda Holt, SYPAQ CEO, commented at the time.
