The University of South Australia has appointed Ryan McClenaghan as its new Director of Defence and Space.
McClenaghan comes to the role from Fleet Space Technologies, where he served as the company's Director for Defence and National Security. At UniSA, he will lead the University's Defence and Space research and education activities.
“As Australia seeks to grow its sovereign defence and capabilities, and Adelaide University is created, it is more important than ever that we align research with industry engagement and technology transfer and support the skills required for the future,” McClenaghan said.
McClenaghan will commence his new role on 14 October.
