NIOA’s LE and Military Sales Manager, Greg Toms, recently returned from the SHOT Show in the US.
After the show he also attended the post-SHOT Remington Defense Armourer & Operator’s course, conducted by Remington Defense on the Clark County Shooting Range near Las Vegas.
The course was a full week of handling and shooting long rifles, shotguns and assault rifles, including a FLIR night shoot component with thermal and other specialty optics.
It was attended by representatives from countries around the world including South Africa, Colombia, France, Germany, Canada and of course the USA.
NIOA was fortunate to be able to invite some representatives from Australian LEA’s and the Australian Defence Force, who made the most of the opportunity to handle and qualify on Remington Defense weapons.
