The manufacturing and engineering operations are managed in Adelaide, South Australia by the subsidiary company Hendon Semiconductors.

Legend Defence Industries Division was formed with the express purpose of providing the ADF with advanced Australian engineering solutions and with over 30 years' experience in advanced electronics manufacture, Legend has been integral in delivering some of the ADF's most advanced systems.

Legend has designed and manufactured components for the Collins Class submarine, Frigate mounted towed array; Kirawara, the hover anti missile decoy; Nulka, Barra sonobuoys, the Mulloka on board ships sonar and many other sensors and devices for defence.
