Switchcraft has introduced a high amperage power plug and jack to their extensive range of DC power plugs and jacks.
Sealed and non-sealed versions are available and are rated up to 11A current (carry) up to 24 V DC at 55 ºC with an operating temperature of -40ºC to 105ºC. An automatic switch over from AC to DC is permitted by sleeve shunt switch.
They are available in locking and non-locking versions, and the sealed versions are secured to IP68, NEMA 250 (6P), when mated.
The new high amperage power plug and jack has applications in any sealed data transmission, military or industrial GPS location devices, instrumentation, medical equipment, marine, transportation and power supplies, as well as general industrial electronic applications.
