TekMark Australia together with Tektronix, Inc. has announced the shipment of the final quantity of a total of 251 units of their TDS3054C, 500MHz, 4 Channel Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes to the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

“We are delighted that the ADF are continuing with a tried and proven oscilloscope platform, and that the Australian Defence Forces have chosen to go with TekMark Australia and Tektronix’s proven world class oscilloscope, the TDS3054C,” said General Manager of TekMark Australia Pty Ltd, Domenic Pupo.

The versatility of the unit lends itself to be well positioned into all aspects of military electronic test and measurement, maintenance and R&D both in the field with optional battery, and in the laboratory setup.

“From the RAAF flight line, ILS and maintenance through to EW applications, the TDS3000C Series has a proven and well defined track record within all major Defence organisations and contractors worldwide,” said Pupo.

ADF Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) Contract officer indicated that the TDS3054C offered the best value for money to the Department of Defence.

The TDS3054C belongs to a portfolio of digital phosphor oscilloscopes (DPOs) designed specifically for mainstream electronic designers who want to easily display, store and analyse dynamic, complex signals with an instrument that provides excellent performance in an affordable and portable package.

Bandwidths up to 500 MHz, and greater than 5 times over-sampling (digital real-time sampling), 9-bit digitising performance with a fast waveform capture rate, and real-time intensity grading are just some of the benefits of the TDS3000C series.

The TDS3000C Series oscilloscopes have simple and familiar navigation, dedicated front panel controls, and Quick Menus to help reduce the time it takes to learn how to use the oscilloscope to solve problems.
