Afghanistan has been, at times, a tough road to travel.

Soon that road will be bringing our troops back home.

The enormity of the task ? of accounting for all ADF personnel and coordinating their safe withdrawal; of accurately identifying all ADF equipment and preparing for its return and reuse in Australia or its safe disposal overseas ? is one that KBR is very familiar with.

Since 2002 KBR has been on the ground in some of the most remote and austere environments providing complete logistical services for US and UK soldiers and supplies.

The ADF is well positioned to take advantage of KBR's extensive infrastructure, supplier networks and industry partnerships in Afghanistan and the Middle East region.

With its expertise in engineering, logistics and training support, KBR provides services on some of Australia's largest projects, such as the Gorgon and Ichthys LNG projects.

For nearly 30 years KBR has proudly supported the ADF, which has benefited from KBR's integration and management capabilities on many significant activities including maintenance of Australia's amphibious and afloat ships and helicopter training for pilots, technicians and groundcrew.

Few activities are as significant and as critical as the ADF's remaining months in Afghanistan.

KBR's leadership in the delivery of some of the world's most complex operations, and its established presence and experience in the region, assures the ADF of flexible and responsive support as it completes its operation and prepares for the complex, but most welcome, journey home.
