Turkish opportunity for Aust industry

The Turkish Under secretariat for Defence Industries (Savunma Sanayii Müstesarligi - SSM) is seeking details from Australian industry of shipboard equipment potentially applicable to the country's TF 2000 anti-air warfare frigate program.

In an announcement on 15 January, the SSM issued requests for information relating to:

• infrared countermeasures,
• electrical power generation and distribution,
• integrated platform management,
• remotely controlled weapons,
• propulsion,
• main gun, and
• heating, ventilation and air-conditioning.
