Further to the publication of ADM's article on Land 400, 'The challenge with Land 400' German manufacturer FFG Flensburger Fahrzeugbau GmbH, read that article and advised that their 30 tonne FFG armoured combat vehicle incorporates their newly developed Protected Mission Module Carrier (PMMC G5) 'which suits the Land 400 combat vehicle capability'.

More JHSVs for Austal?

Austal USA was selected as prime contractor in November 2008 to design and build the first JHSV, with options for nine additional vessels expected to be exercised between FY09-13.

Defence has confirmed that the three shortlisted consortia were informed earlier this year that the Request for Tender for the Domestic Munitions Manufacturing Arrangements Project had been suspended.
