Laser Safety Courses

Dr Trevor Wheatley presents his two edVirtus professional education Laser Safety courses in October: The Laser Safety Supervisor Course is for one day, providing a basic level of understanding of the principles of laser safety practice to meet the needs of Australian/International standards for a Laser Safety Supervisor (LSS) or Defence Level 2 Laser Safety Officer (LSO2).

Over five days the Laser Safety Officer Course provides an intermediate quantitative level of understanding of the principles of laser safety practice to meet the needs of Australian/International standards for a laser safety officer or a Defence Level 1 Laser Safety Officer (LSO1). The first day of the course is our Level 2 Laser Safety Supervisor course. Days 2 to 5 then build on this knowledge with a more detailed coverage of the key properties, including mathematical descriptions of lasers and laser beams.

View more detail about each course on the edVirtus website.
